Chosen Solution Hey all, I’m trying to do a setup where I have 2 external monitors hooked up to my new MacBook Pro via the CalDigit TS3 Plus Dock, but I am having a lot of difficulty as the 2 monitors I purchased are not being recognized on my MBP with either the dock or the simpler Apple Thunderbolt -> HDMI dongle. I’ve confirmed that I have the correct adapters for the dock so I believe this to be an issue with the monitors....

Chosen Solution we recently replaced the clutch and washer worked for a while. It then started making very loud noises when draining. It then stopped draining or spinning. It does agitate. typically when a washer won’t drain or spin it’s because the lid switch is bad. It’s a safety mechanism that prevents the washer from draining or spinning when the lid is open (for very good reason as when accidents do happen during a spin cycle with lid open, they tend to be fairly grusome) It’s never a good a idea to just throw parts at a machine before you identify a part as being bad, but no spin/ no drain is almost always a faulty lid safety switch...

Chosen Solution At this point you two directions, first see if you can even ‘see’ the drive within your Mac’s Disk Utilities app. If you can then you have a good chance to use a data recovery app like this one: ProSoft Engineering Data Rescue 5 or shipping the drive out to a data recovery service like DriveSavers Another thing you can try: Boot your computer with a Linux Live disk, and then plug in the drive....

Chosen Solution I am replacing the battery on a Surface Pro 5 and re-using the screen assembly. Does anyone know what type of adhesive tape would be best for re-assembly. I want to find out what is close to the factory tape in thickness, adhesion, and type as possible. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I’ve always used Tesa tape brand (link below) with excellent results. Its the right thickness and holds very well....

Chosen Solution This question is actually for a E70-E3. Why does my screen now look lighter in the bottom right corner? @travelingg your TV is having issues with the backlight array. Looks like the backlight is dim on the other end. You could measure the voltages from your power board to the backlight LED’s and see if there is a large variances but from what it looks like thee issue will most likely be some bad strips....

Chosen Solution Replaced the hard drive in the computer, plugged everything back in and reinstalled the screen. When I hit the power button nothing comes on. But when I unscrew the screen , and just let it sit there everything boots.but when I go to screw the screen back in . Chosen Solution i wanted to know specifically what type of tri wing screwdriver i needed to unscrew the screws under the adhesive pads on the back of the wii u gamepad. im super paranoid of stripping my screws, Hi @squidrin , Don’t know the device but in the ifixit Nintendo Wii U GamePad Repair guides, there are only two Tri-point screwdrivers shown as being needed, a Y0 and a Y1. Check through the guides under Introduction > Tools in each particular section of the guide to see which one you need or get both as you may need both of them anyway....

Chosen Solution The headphones work but the LEDs that indicate how much battery is left do not come on. I see the part is easily replaced (two screws and a ribbon cable) just like the battery but I can’t seem to find the part. Hello i have this part if you need this again send me a email best regard

Chosen Solution I was looking for a logic board due to a broken ribbon cable to the hold switch and now wouldn’t power on. I tried hard resetting and disk mode to recover my music but it always comes back to my logic board. The grounding chassis is where the broken part goes to I hope this helps. you can find one here

Chosen Solution I got this tablet a while ago, set it up, and used it for about a week. Then shut it off and never used it for a few years tbh. Its in perfect condition, so I connected it to a charger and let it charge. Immediately after unplugging it, the screen went black and wouldn’t come on. I plugged it in, and it eventually came back on with 0% battery....

Maximum temp is 26 and it show me the it heats the water but it’s not going above 26 C If the maximum temp is 26, it’s not supposed to go above that temperature. I think you set a maximum temperature of 26. If you are facing any issue then you should have to contact a mechanic. Nowadays most of the people purchase water heater without checking their reviews, features, and specifications and don’t know about that properly....

Chosen Solution Anyone has any ideas on a Socket 775 Mobo, there is a problems with the on-board VGA, it doesn’t work, the only way, would be a alternative graphic card, but i want to solve this by attemptinf fixing? Any Ideas?? Go to bios on bootup (watch your screen for instructions how–they vary) and check that you don’t have on board video turned off in bios. The system board has the ability to do that to prevent conflicts when using a graphic card....

When we turned it on extended pipe on top suction is perfect but on bottom brush is rotating but no suction at all and I can not work out why? Any ideas? Chosen Solution Vizio P659-G1 TV Bought this from an auction site. New in box. Condition listed as “unable to test fully, charger missing.” Of course there is no charger but the power cable was missing. But it uses a fairly standard non-grounded AC cable and i had one at home. It turns on. Black screen with Vizio logo. Then it goes to a pale blue screen and nothing else. No buttons are responsive except the power button on the remote and on the back....

Chosen Solution I recently turned on my TV and it is only displaying green and pink bars across the entire panel. I have tried other inputs to see if it was only an HDMI problem however it dId not do anything. None of the TV buttons change the display however after I reset it and turn it back on I did hear background music and the volume button did change the noise level....

Hi @birdiebee , There are no system updates available anymore for your model tablet, that is most probably why the option is not working. Here’s a link to an answer on ifixit regarding this. The link in the answer goes to a website that explains how to root the tablet to possibly gain some improvements but doing this is not an OS (Operating System) update....
