Chosen Solution I had this iPod Hi-Fi since it came out and used it with from iPod Mini to Airport Express remote speaker then until now with one of those BlueTooth 30-pin dongle adapter to listen music from my iPhone. After using it for a less than a year, no more BT! so I replaced the dongle but it turned out that the dock’s not powered. I suspect the speaker is powered on all the time even if not used so that some fuse or capacitor burned out....

Chosen Solution Hello, I have an E400i-B2. When trying to power on it will turn on and for a split second, can see the vizio logo on the screen. Then the TV shuts down and the power LED fades out. I have tried several different things. I unplugged the backlights from the LED driver board. When doing that, the TV will power on and stay on and can see the image on the screen with a flashlight....

Chosen Solution Hi Guys, The past 2-3 weeks I’m experiencing a problem with the electric bike. The meter of Watts in the display has a lots of variation and while it might be at one moment 140 Watts, it can change to 200 Watts after a second without any reason (cycling with steady pace). This results in stopping the motor even if I am under the limit of 25km/hr (kind of blocking it so it doesn’t give boost) as it is probably limited to going to a certain amount of max Watts....

Chosen Solution Originally, our problem was a gray screen with lines but showed the Apple symbol and progress bar, which would go about 2/3 and then go to complete gray screen, then black screen, then restart. We replaced the logic board and then just had a black screen. You could hear the CD powering, but nothing else (no start up chime). We ended up taking it to an Apple Certified Technician store who told us they “chase the symptoms” and determined it was the display to which they could replace for $300....

Chosen Solution I did a 12 strip LED backlight replacement on my TCL 65S401. It went great - in that aspect haha. However, now i have a section of vertical lines on the left side. First set of lines is 10 inches towards center from the left side. The set of lines is 3/8 wide of alternating blue pixel lines and black pixel lines, running on top of the menu screen....

Chosen Solution I did a battery installation on an iPod I bought off eBay. Works great when music is being played on it. Lasted for 15 hrs. But when it’s not in use it goes dead in around 6 hours. Can someone please help me with a solution to this problem? Thank you Do you turn the iPod propertly off when you dont use it? It could be the quality of the battery, if it uses power when you dont use it i would strongly recommend you get a new one....

Chosen Solution I have a v0370m vizio and the screen went white while watching it the other night. I am still able to see some of the menu function for the tv but no color just a darker white. Any help is appreciated. Adam martin, the white screen is most likely caused by your backlight staying on but your LCD not receiving a signal. Check the power board as well as the video board for leaking capacitors or otherwise damaged looking components....

Chosen Solution Hello my Ifixit family! Received a Iphone 5C that a customer wanted to change the screen on, nothing unusual.. First thing I noticed was the water sensor on the back of the LCD was a little pink. I switched over the parts and put on the new screen and everything seemed to work fine. Then, 2-3minutes later of testing the screen started acting very erratic. It was extremely sensitive to the point where I could use an app without even touching the screen (simply hover my finger directly over the screen resulted in the app starting up) I’ve switched out the screen 4-5times now, sadly I don’t have another unit to test the screens with though....

Chosen Solution After replacement of WiFi/Bluetooth antenna still doesn’t work (WiFi grayed out,no Bluetooth) . . but iPhone won’t power on off battery but will if Charging . . . Won’t power boot . . . Then starts trying but just repeats showing the apple logo. Can’t turn off. Please help. I’m trying today to plug into iTunes and try a restore. I have to go inside the iPhone and unplug the battery connector to get it to stop flashing the Apple logo....

Chosen Solution Hi - followed the instructions for the Pixel 3 charger board replacement, and really thought everything went well (and the USB-C port works again!) but now I have a thick vertical green line going through the display. Anyone ideas what the issue could be? Thanks! That is a damage on the screen or a damage on the flex cable of the screen, it can be a visible damage or internal damage caused by pressing or forcing the screen....

Chosen Solution When i connect screen flex cable to iphone 8 board and disconnect home button cable touch screen works and vice versa both are not working at same time any solution? What’s the history??? Try a different screen or try the original screen, if the button is shorted or damaged then that can conk out the touch
