Chosen Solution Is it possible to take the SSD boot drive out from a MacBook Pro 13 inch Early 2011 running Mac High Sierra 10.13.6 and swap it physically into a MacBook Pro 15 inch Mid 2012 and then upgrade to Catalina? Update (11/04/2020) Further research looking at how to do the swap on Youtube uncovered the information that the MBP 15” Mid 2012 retina takes an mSATA drive. It’s a smaller mSATA which also requires an adapter....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone with cracked glass that don’t power-on (even backlight). If i simple connect to iTunes, i receive the message that a restoring is required (recovery mode, i can see the IMEI). I’ve tried restoring it in DFU, recovery mode, and both ipsw firmware iOS 9 and 10, all with the same result - iTunes keeps throwing error 9 Also noticed that if i keep the iPhone just connected to the PC (without doing anything), it will disconnect and reconnect automatically every certain amount of time....

Chosen Solution Most of my screws are stripped by now because I used low-quality tools. I bought the iFixit Minnow Driver Kit, but I can’t use them yet because of the stripped screws. I saw a method where using a wide rubber band can be used, which molds inside the stripped screw when you press against it with a screwdriver. This way unscrewing should be easy. So my question is… should I use my brand new screwdrivers on that rubber band?...

Thanks @decolores add some images showing us where you are measuring. The DC output on your power supply should be between 21V and 24V. Your battery voltage should be between 15.5V and 18V. Chosen Solution When I try turning my scooter, the whole top with the handle barns and pole down turns with me but the wheel part at the bottom stays in place- it seemingly disconnected. How can I fix this that way my scooter turns, with the wheel turning. ? Problem started shortly after arriving. Take the wheel off, and try and remove the vertical pole with handles. See what is damaged/broken....

Chosen Solution I wanted to know where the NFC module is, NOT THE CONTROLLER. Could you put a descriptive diagram with the NFC module in exploded view vs where it is with the case on. Thank you. The Google Pixel XL’s NFC pad is actually located behind the glass on the back, however, I find the most responsive spot right under the camera.

Chosen Solution The display and part of the case was damaged and I mounted it in another cabinet, but now the CPU is at more than 300% of use (kernel_task) so the equipment is very slow, I do not know if I have to do any adaptation or have to do with a temperature sensor. Chosen Solution There is 2.2 mm headphone jack stuck my phones socket.I need to remove it without using glue Hi You might need to replace your headphone jack depending on how deep it is in but here’s something to try If you don’t want to use glue you can take it to a reputable repair shop or get a dremel and drill into the middle of the jack(make sure to not let it damage the port though)then once you have a big enough hole in the remaining jack try and get some fine tip tweezers and pull it out Like I said it might be a good idea to have a professional see it before trying anything serious Hopefully this helps Any questions please ask Thanks:-)...

Chosen Solution HI, i just replaced my long broken iphone 6 screen with a new one. unfortunately the new screen still show’s super tiny horizontal black lines. and when there is an app with a black background, i shows purple like vertical lines. it’s possible there came some amount of water inside, because i once left it outside when my screen was cracked. Still my touch screen is working fine though....

Take the retainer and ball out underneath is two wheels one tracks the ball vertically and the other horizontally. Are you able to move the pointer on the screen up and down and left to right? Chosen Solution My iPhone 6 is trapped in an endless loop of the step “press home to upgrade” after updating from iOS8.4 to iOS11.4. When I do as it says, it will show an Apple logo and progress bar. the progress bar can only walk nearly 80% (60% for the 2nd time, just a few pixels for 3rd the later times) and soon it restarts. Chosen Solution Added redline full fuel treatment to my truck a couple of tanks ago and still getting the smoke on cold start any ideas how long this will last or should I start to worry What colour smoke, white, grey, blue or thick black? white is water vapour (nothing to worry about), blue means there is oil getting into the system somewhere, grey could be oil too, faulty PCV if it has one or transmission fluid getting into the engine from a leak (bit less common) or turbo issues, black usually means too much fuel, in a diesel a clogged DPF if it has one, each colour smoke could indicate many things....

Chosen Solution @tronz yes you do want to go ahead and measure the voltages. Also post some good pictures of your board with your QUESTION. That way we can see what you see. Going by your description I would focus on the power board at this time. Just to verify, you did say you already replaced the main board. Reflow may not what your TV needs. You should go ahead and do some more troubleshooting....

Chosen Solution I have a Sanyo DP26640. When I go to input all ports are checked but nothing I plug in to the TV will show on the screen except the old manual antenna. That picks up local stations just fine. I have a ROKU stick that was working plugged in to HDMI 1 but now I get nothing. Does the channel still have to be on 3? I tried a different ROKU that works elsewhere, I tried plugging in to different HDMI ports....

If it doesn’t display a dvd video but only displays the menus try cleaning the laser lens and check if that resolves the problem....
