Since we do not have a guide for this (hopefully you’ll make one https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/new ), check something like this video to replace that flex....
Chosen Solution I have a brand new Kenmore series 100 top load. Did everything by the instructions, but when I turn it on it just buzzes in “sensing/fill” mode. No water comes into the machine. Yes there is water getting to the machine as I did a test on the “delicate” setting w/o clothes just to try it and rinse it out. Now nothing. I bought this for my wife in December for the apartment being renovated for us, and we just moved in, thus it is really a brand new machine....

Chosen Solution I took apart my phone and where the LCD is located, I pretty much ripped what I think the cable is out. And now my phone won’t work,the screen is black and will not turn on. I press the power button and it makes a vibration like it would when it turns on. But nothing. you basically answered your own question. replace the ribbon cable and your screen should work again as long as that’s all that happened....

Tried to charging for a few hours and it still doesn’t turn on, so the problem may be the battery or the charging dock but what are the chances that it’s the main board’s fault? chances of the logic board being bad is slim. i would change the battery and dock first

I think most of the parts are in working order, but whenever I press down on the button, it doesn’t push down as far as the R.H. shoulder button, and makes a slight click. Chosen Solution The Lan port,(RJ45) on my Q551LN Asus Laptop has been giving me problems. It is definitely a hardware issue. I have tried different cables with no success. If I force a toothpick into the connector to hold the cable, in just the perfect place it works until the slightest movement. I can connect wifi, but It is to slow for me. Ihave a usb 3.0 to ethernet that does work, but my usb port is even starting to get a little loose....
