Chosen Solution O.k. So I recently was given a iPod touch 2G to fix. The digitizer was cracked and the housing was pretty beat up. The volume rocker worked fine before taking it apart. I stripped the iPod down keeping mind of all the delicate ribbons expecially the volume ribbon. After putting it all back together everything worked great EXCEPT for the “volume down” control on the rocker. I got a new cable annd replaced it but still no luck....

Chosen Solution The only issue is that the hard drive I want to replace it with comes from a LaCie blade runner, and has foil over the bottom side of it where as the one I took out of it does not. Both cases are metal, but I believe there would have been no contact between the foil and the case in the blade runner, where as there may be in this unit....

If the water inlet valve is cracked or has a loose fitting, water will leak from the valve. Inspect the water inlet valve for cracks, and make sure that it is tightly secured to the water supply line....

Chosen Solution i have a 1st gen iphone se that for the most part works but it won’t turn off because the power button doesn’t work so i use the feature in settings to try and do it and instead of turning off it restarts and goes into a boot loop until i plug it in and then it boots up fully. it also turns off by itself randomly as if the battery has gone flat....

Chosen Solution I infrequently use my printer. Since the previous time using it I now have and error message: Clean Unable 50. I performed visual inspection and see no jams or foreign objects. What function results in that error message and how do I fix it? Chosen Solution Hi I was watching a movie when display turned off and on couple of times before it died completely. I connected external display to make a timemachine backup. That said macbook itself worked well, its just the display that died. It’s 3.1GHz, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD so still keeps high price on second hand market so despite being out of warranty I took it to the genius bar to check it out....

According to the ifixit Panasonic SA-PM17 Troubleshooting guide, (scroll down to Messages Displayed on Screen), F61 indicates: “ Check and correct the speaker cord connections. If this does not fix the problem, there is a power supply problem. Chosen Solution My laptop (dell Inspiron 13 5368) screen doesn’t work correctly after I spilled some water accidentally. It’s VERY dim. The laptop works fine if I attach it to an external monitor. After some research people were suggesting that the backlight fuse could’ve been blown. I’m trying to find the fuse on my mother board so k can test it, but not sure where it is. Hi @feroz8686, Have you tried different inputs, input types, cables, signal sources etc to see if you do get an image at all. Can you view the TV’s menu screens at all? What have you tried? Chosen Solution the speakers on my laptop have some sort of problem, when i play a song on maximum volume, i still cannot hear anything. what do i do? Chosen Solution Set will not power on, i get only two blinking red lights . No sound or video coming from set. Update (08/24/2016) I am unable to post a photo of the PSU. However, Visual inspection shows no swollen and/ or leaking Caps. The standby voltage reads 3.3 v dc a the standby pin. Thank you tremendously for your help! Chosen Solution in the upper left hand corner there are two blinking led . accompanied by a clicking sound. it is the top two lights of what appears to be four lights. Startups and shutdowns are erratic . If I pull plug to stop the led’s from blinking,then I cannot start up right away- after maybe five minutes the blinking returns and then I can start up again.. Also, it will not go to sleep with the power button fading in and out- it just shuts down computer: mac pro early 2009 xeon 4,1 quad core 2....

Chosen Solution i have been fixing iphones, ipods, ipads, etc for some time now. I mainly focus on screen repairs. While removing the glass from the ipad mini I tore a cable in the top right corner near the rear view camera. Been searching online to find out what i tore and cant seem to find it so I came here seeking help. I can see that there are 2 solder points on the ribbon cable and i’m very tempted to soldering it but figured i would find out what it is before doing it....

Chosen Solution I replaced the screen on my iPhone 7, all touch is perfect (using outside of case with cables seated and brackets on over the connectors) until I screw together the phone again, and ONLY when I screw in the pentalobes. Then the touch is scuffed, with a 2cm dead zone a third the way up the screen and a tendency to randomly press anything on the very bottom centimetre of the screen, especially on the bottom right....

Chosen Solution I have a phone I have fixed we put a new screen on it and it stopped working after a week. So my employee reset the flex cables and it worked. The next week the guy comes back and it has quit working after 1 week again. I replace the screen this time and it works. Then he comes back after another week. I clean and inspect the connections put another screen on and inspect the screen to make sure all the grounding tape is on right it works....

Chosen Solution Dropped iPad and shattered screen. Removed all screen pieces. Ordered replacement front panel assembly. Home button works, powers on, volume button works but touch screen does not respond. Can’t “slide to open”. Is there something else that I can troubleshoot? I’d hate to become a “former” ipad owner. If so then check the connectors on the ipad are fully locked in place if they are and still no touch it’s possible it’s a faulty display

Chosen Solution When I start a wash I hear a humming noise and no water is flowing into the tub. It seems like the cycle would keep going if I let it. No error message. We recently had a power outage. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. @jv68 could be a control board issues as well as a water inlet valve issue. First thing you want to do is to unplug the machine and keep it unplugged for 5-10 min then plug it back in....
