It is a little switch held by two plastic clips and has three wires going to it....
Chosen Solution Someone accidentally pulled on the cord of my old Element tv and it fell onto carpeting (not the super soft kind). The screen and everything else looks okay from the outside, but there are now two black bars on the screen when it is turned on. The tv still functions fine, but there is just something up with the display. Does anyone have any quick fixes or is this something I should just throw out?...
Chosen Solution after dropping my already fragile top screen, it finally got torn apart i was hoping to still use it as a gba player but every time i try to turn it on the bottom screen just flashes and turns itself off. what can i do to fix this issue? Sounds like it’s time to get another DS. I don’t think the bottom will work without the top. You can find used DS and DS lites pretty cheap on eBay or you local Facebook marketplace....
Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 5S which screen becomes erratic (top part not responding to touch, sliding gestures not recognized) after a while. I’ve been able to make it happen by running 10 geekbench 3 tests in a row. I know the display assembly has been replaced, and I’m not sure it’s genuine. Problem has been present at least since the screen was replaced. You have a defective screen and it will have to be replaced....
Chosen Solution I was intermittently getting errors reading game cards but it was mostly working. Unrelated to the game card reader error I broke a joystick and replaced both joysticks myself. The joystick repair seemed to go fine and is working after the repair, but of course I had to basically take apart everything to get to it. After being pleased that the joysticks work I realized that the game card reader no longer works at all (no game cards work in it)....
Chosen Solution my phone turns off randomly and when it does it heats up. when it cools down I can charge it again so it can boot up. now it wont charge and wont open. I dont know how to repair cellphones and I dont have immediate access to parts hope someone would help me thanks @wade90 heat=shortcircuit. In the case of your phone, I’d start with a new battery and re-evaluate....
Chosen Solution My Hisense tv has a black screen also! So what do you do to fix this problem? dottievbaker you are not giving us a lot to go by. You need to let us know if your power LED comes on and stays on or if it blinks etc. After that, it’ll help if you can tell us if you have sound or if your TV is with no sound and no image....
Chosen Solution I purchased my Samsung TV a few months ago and had no issues. It is now losing the internet connections when I go into Netflix within 20 or 30 minutes. In settings it says that it is connected but obviously not. When I unplug the TV and plug it back in it will reconnect and allow me to get Netflix for about 20 to 30 minutes or so. At one point I unplugged and re-plugged then immediately updated the firmware which was successful but the issue came back....
Chosen Solution My Solo wireless have been working great. I use them while walking my dog for 2-3 hrs per day and the charge last about 2 weeks. This was true until now! Since the weather has cooled off (in the 20s) my headset shuts down about an hour into the walk. I get a chime then nothing, no lights , sound nothing, I cannot turn them back on they are just dead!...

I purchased the power board, the main logic board and the lcd board, the problem was only with one of them, and I can’t remember for the life of me which board actually repaired the issue. I wanna say it was the main logic board, but I could be wrong. These boards are now double in cost of what I paid last time....
Chosen Solution Vizio has no picture at all. Vizio logo does not light up when turning on tv. Unable to see menu screen with flashlight test. Have replaced both the Tcon and main board but no change. Still no video at all. Any ideas? Chosen Solution My sony Xperia J has been soaked and the first thing I did was disassemble it and try to dry it using the sun’s heat then tried to to turn it on will it still work? Mae Amor Gumahad only drying it will leave residue that will create corrosion and short circuit. You do have to clean it. Use some 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush to clean it ....
Chosen Solution Were is the camshaft sensors and how do I get to it. @crazymomma you did not tell us the engine size for your GC. Here is some imformation from a service manual. Should make it pretty straight forward. On the 4.0 the Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) is bolted to the top of the oil pump drive shaft assembly. The sensor and drive shaft assembly is located on the right side of the engine near the oil filter....
Chosen Solution ram, storage, graphic card… ? Storage only . . . possibly at this time there is no 3rd party drive for the 14/14 models. So buy it the way you want it (or in the maximum configuration). RAM and GPU are soldered to the logic board. If this answer is acceptable please remember to return and mark it accepted.
Chosen Solution So got my car inspected and it didn’t pass because the windows are tinted. I didn’t tint the windows, I bought the car that way… now I have to untint them. I was told that the tinting was an aftermarket job done with tint film. Sure enough I see the film line. so my question is what is the best way to get this stuff off? The only way I know to remove tint film is by scraping and peeling it off....
Chosen Solution I have a Samsung dorm-room-size refrigerator and, while picking it up and moving it, a brown liquid that looks like Vanilla Extract or thin Chocolate Syrup started leaking from the bottom. What is it? Should I replenish it? Will running the refrigerator damage it? @stephenspeer kind of hard to make out but it looks like it maybe coming from your compressor. It’s actually the only thing that would have that type of fluid in there....
Chosen Solution I have been dealing with the insufficient ventilation error, and noticed that the fan was not spinning at all. I did some testing and was able to confirm that the fan works when using an independent power source (9V) battery, but I would like a permanent solution to fix the power to fan issue. When I removed the motherboard I did find that there was some water damage (got this from facebook) and it was over the whole board....
