Chosen Solution I purchased a total wireless phone. I bought it from someone on Craigslist. Third party. I’ve been trying to activate it , but total Wireless won’t activate it. They say the phone was never scanned at the register when it was purchased by the original owner. According to Total Wireless there’s nothing that they can do to help me unless I have the receipt for it and then to also have it scanned at the original store it was purchased from....

Chosen Solution I replaced the digitizer and OLED screen on my Moto Z Play and now touch isn’t working on the screen. I made sure everything is seated properly, but it’s just not working at all. The only thing I can think of is that somehow the zif connector for the pair isn’t seating all the way in as the line on the cable does not sit exactly at the opening where the cable mates, but about a millimeter out from it....

Chosen Solution Hello, I’ve read everything i could about touch ID, but i couldn’t find a similar situation. I have an Iphone 6. I changed screen and I use old home button and ribbon. At first i was able to complete touch id setup. All was good, but after 2 days, touch id stopped working. I managed to get it working again by rebooting several times, soft reset.. But then again it stopped working....

Chosen Solution My car has something trailing underneath when I set off looked under but I can’t see anything what could it be? A rock in the brake area? If you could sing a few bars of the “trailing” noise it might be helpful. Does it sound like a cowboy song when they are riding the trails? Could it be some brush got snagged last time you did some off roading and it’s rubbing against a tire?...

Chosen Solution Hi all. I broke recently my screen on my iPhone 8+. So I bought a new screen from Ifixit, as long with a ICopy Plus from QianLi to restore the ALS/True Tone. The disassembly of the old screen went quite smoothly, plugged the old screen to the ICopy, the read it without any issue…connected the new screen…and nothing. The Icopy is unable to read the screen eeprom…so I’m unable to restore ALS/True Tone on the new screen....

Chosen Solution My vizio tv is on with sound but the picture I can barely see it as well as the menu @shanmitc that sounds like a backlight issues could be a problem with the power board as well as the panel. Remove the back of your set and check for obvious damage like domed or leaking capacitors etc. Let us know the exact model of your TV and post some images of your display as well as the boards....

Chosen Solution Was using my TV before and all of a sudden it goes onto a black screen, the screen wasn’t backlit but it was clearly on as was able to control the AV menu even whilst the screen wasn’t backlit. Turn my TV off then on and it goes onto the source I selected whilst the screen wasn’t backlit and after a few mins it goes back onto a black screen, nothing shows at all whilst on this black screen....

Chosen Solution I currently have a Verizon HTC One M8 (HTC6525LVW). While trying to fix a gps issue (bend antenna to make better contact with case), I snapped off the little antenna for the gps. It’s located on the daughter board on the top of the phone, so I’m guessing that I need to replace the whole daughter board. Chosen Solution The rest of the keyboard is working fine, but one of my keys seems to be stuck in place. You can pop it off, by gently prying from underneath the key. There may be something underneath the key making it stuck. To put it back on, just line up the hinge to the clips on the underside of the key. Otherwise, just replace the keyboard, they cost about $10-20 , and they’re easy to replace....

I get it powered off then hold power and both volumes until the screen shows a green bot lying down with the stomach door open. Thanks in advance As far as I know, there aren’t any parts distributors selling screens without polarizers, which I would assume you’re looking to make a “privacy” screen that requires special glasses to view? Thanks Typically you peel off the old adhesive and replace it with new stuff. Don’t use silicone, use something like Tesa black tape. Some parts suppliers will sell precut adhesive for most devices....

Chosen Solution stuck kcup how to remove Remove the larger insert that the k cup is installed into. I lifted it out gently with needle nose pliers it doesn’t Require any force. Then you will see a small pin sitting upward which pierces the regular pods. Swing this small gate outward and remove thereuseable cup. This rotates the itching mechanism forward releasing the cup. If it is just a regular k-cup you should be able to remove the aluminum covering the top and grab it with a pair of pliers....
