Chosen Solution OK, so the genius at the bar said that I could upgrade my mac to 8 gigs of ram and here on ifixit.com it states only up to 6 gigs is possible. so as was searching for memory i found descriptions such as low energy, unbuffered, and unregistered. Is there a certain type of memory only apple and ifixit.com can provide? I was a pc girl only until recently and I used to just switch out my pc memory all the time....

The most common technician related damage on the 8 series is knocking off battery gas gauge. When that happens the phone will restart every so often and will only report like 1% battery regardless of how long you charge it. On the bright side, it can be fixed by someone who is skilled in microsoldering....

Chosen Solution I have this problem (Logitech seems to have put obsolescence on the switch to kill the keyboard). Curiously, the switch is always “on” and drain the battery even if we do not use it. Have anyone solve the problem ? How ? Thanks. This shouldn’t be a real problem, as the keyboard charges when it’s on, so be sure to have some light shine on it part of the day and that’s good enough, indirect window light it’s perfectly fine enough....
Chosen Solution when I turn on the laptop, it passes the toshiba logo screen and brings a black screen with a flashing white underscore on top_left. then the flashing stop and it freezes for ever. it happens also if I try to boot with a usb. Could be the hard drive but try this first: Shut down, unplug the AC adapter/power supply/charger and remove battery.Press and hold power button for 20 seconds....

It often stops tracking when you move our finger across the center of the trackpad. It will often not be able to pick up the scroll gesture properly. The new trackpad seems to be working, but the upper third does not click and shows cutoff responsiveness. My thoughts are that it has to do with either the alignment of the trackpad or the tightness of the screws that hold the trackpad. Anyone have a tip on what I should be looking for?...

Chosen Solution Typical signs of a loose wire any rough movement of the drone and I loose the LEDs on the bottom and get them right back. I did some testing right after take of with hard spins and flips normally causing the problem and for it to crash. Any ideas on where to start or a common problem I can’t find would be great. Well I am not an expert on the topic but if the wires connect on the mother board this should help you gain access to the motherboard to see if the cables are connected and the power supply....

Chosen Solution A friend had a visio E70-F3 that just started continuously power cycling… power light comes on, logo shows in middle of screen, logo disappears, powers off, repeat. He tried a hard power cycle, no luck, so he spend $$$ on a new TV,… I took his vizio, replaced the power board thinking that had to be it. No luck, same behavior. I’ve read I may have to replace either the TCON or Main board....
