Chosen Solution There is a ding in my frame, didn’t drop it, so don’t know where it comes from. Sent it to Dynafix (dutch repair company) but they gave me an estimate of 270 EUR, so I declined it. Now I am wondering, can I fix this myself? See photo in link: Photo I think you’ll need to live with it. You could try getting a case which hides it. Sadly, dings like this are hard to undo....
Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve got a thick black/green line that goes top to bottom on the left side of my screen.. it’s not solid, it’s like a shadow. You can only see it on certain pictures, it’s particularly visible on a blue sky. Or solid colour background. Anyone know what it might be? TV is a Samsung hu7200 65". It’s about 2.5 years old.. I have cleared the holes in the tube and hood, but still won’t light. Any thoughts? Oven works fine. Chosen Solution Following a battery replacement on the Macbook Pro 13” Early 2015, both the trackpad and keyboard are unresponsive. Additionally, the battery can be seen in Cocoa Battery as in poor condition and unable to hold a charge. The Macbook is being ran from the charger. I replaced the ribbon cable twice with no resolution to the issue. My thought is either the trackpad controller was damaged upon the installation of the battery or the battery itself is damaged and Apple limits / disables hardware like the trackpad, keyboard, fan, ports when operating solely from the charger....

Chosen Solution So it does not turn on. Tried everything but it still won’t turn on, I tried cleaning it but it still looks like this @evaneng since those were alkaline batteries the nickel on those contacts has been causticaly etched away. Use a long cotton applicator and mix some white vinegar and sterile water (about a 50/50 mix) and use the applicator to clean of more of the residue. It will not be shiney but will from now on continue to be rather dull looking....

I go through the necessary steps of installing the new drive into the computer and copy the files from the old drive when it is externally connected. You will probably have to boot up your laptop in safe mode. After you have booted into safe mode you will need to re download your os which can be done through usb or disk drive....

Chosen Solution Thermador DW44ZP/16. Water enters, but the wash cycle won’t start, just hums, will drain well. I have replaced the water inlet valve and the circulation pump and still the same issue. The circulation pump did have some shredded plastic bits from the impeller so really thought I had found the problem. The arms are free and clear. What else could be wrong? The float switch? I want this to be the LAST time I take this apart....

Try to see if there are any trouble codes stored, to help determine fault. Some of the auto parts suppliers offer free code reading like Pepboys, Nappa, Advanced auto parts,etc and some of the guys are very knowledgeable and may have seen the issue often and put you on the right track....
Chosen Solution I have a macbook air 2013 13 inch. It’s been through a liquid spill. I’ve removed the bottom panel and inspected for liquid damage and found thing obvious. I can get the computer to boot but it’s some weird reproduction steps unplug the battery back from the logic board wait a few seconds for any remaining charge to dissipate place cover back on the macbook air (without screws) turn over, open up, plugin in magsafe starts green then switches to amber....

Chosen Solution Found an old friends laptop that was water damaged a while ago. It turns on when connected to power although the screen doesn’t light up. When connected to another monitor- the screen works. Would replacing the logic board (and battery) be enough to fix the laptop? @imacow. It is most likely that you do have a logic board issue. Since this is a water damaged MBA you will have residue etc....
