Chosen Solution I have replaced the fuse [UK -3amp.] twice, does the standby unit need replacing? bernard, typically when a fuse blows in a set, it is protecting the rest of the circuitry. without troubleshooting the root cause of the blown fuse, it is bound to keep blowing. you will want to post the model of your unit and which board is blowing the fuse and some pictures of the set up for further assistance....

Without a schematic you may have to trace back from the sensors as presumably all the sensors would get power from a common point on the board. Chosen Solution Remote works only for direct tv receiver. The tv does not receive commands from remote for on, off or volume . Says IR or RF has not been programmed but attempts to program fails. The original Visio remote does work as well as to volumn or on, off . Correction: the original visio remote does not work. I have changed batteries, no help. Chosen Solution replaced batter, coil pack, fuel pump, new ECM but it cranks but wont start did it just have this issue suddenly which caused you to replace all of those things or did things start failing slowly? get a compression test done is a good start as its easy to do and cheap at a garage if you don’t have the kit and will at least narrow to problem down....

Chosen Solution I need to repair volume control knob stem @darrellk7, Darrell,You will probably have to take the receiver apart and switch/change out the volume control/encoder.
