Chosen Solution No matter how many times I run my knife thru the device it does not sharpen. What could be the problem? I am considering throwing the device away if I cannot fix it myself. All that thing really does is regrind the steel at the proper angle. On a good knife that needs to be done every couple of years or so. The better thing to use is a steel which does not remove metal....

Thankyou Most likely you have a bad lcd. I would try replacing the lcd under the screen…this should fix the issue. If your device was dropped this is most likely the issue. Chosen Solution How do I fix Pioneer SX7 receiver volume randomly gets very loud. Ken Perrin make sure that you do not have the volume preset. Check to see if the preset step indicator lights up as your volume increases. Of course, you could also try and set the volume to a level that is not overly loud and see if that changes your receivers behaviour. If you are using a remote control, turn the unit around (or cover it to rule out stray IR interference) and see if that changes it....

Chosen Solution I’ve replaced dozens and dozens of Samsung screens and have ONLY have a problem with the S5. I have one here with a broken screen. I removed the screen and cleaned the frame absolutely spotless. Not a single speck of old adhesive or glass or oil or anything on it. I even stripped all the electronics off it and put it in my sonic cleaner for good measure. Look at it under a microscope and there’s not a single dot to be found....
