Chosen Solution I’m replacing the display cable and will need tape to remount everything but what thickness should the tape be? I want to use Tesa 61395 Tape but I’m not sure which one to get. The pre-cut tape is out of stock (but even if it weren’t, how many of those would I need?) It’s been awhile since I’ve done one. If you are good in threading a needle then you can replace the cable without pulling the bezel off The displays logic board is held by two screws on the frame and the cable is just a clip on the logic board....

Chosen Solution Hi, I dropped my g3 to the ground. Since then telephone network doesnt working. When i plug in sim card there is a “X” on network logo. So i opened g3. Also have you checked to make sure it’s not your SIM card?...

Chosen Solution I took apart my TI-83 plus to see what was wrong with it, and I found out that the c7 capacitor does not work properly. Does anyone know what the c7 capacitor is so I can replace it? According to this site, the capacitor is suppose to be 27pf. What exactly is wrong with your calculator? It may not be a hardware problem and I can help you if it’s a software issue....

THANKS! @amfazeres that looks very suspicious for a failed panel (failed Gate drivers on the LCD driver board which is considered part of the panel). There is always a small possibility that this is a main board issue but it is not very likely....

As a Certified Technician for many brands and models of laptops, do not.. I repeat… DO NOT use any “paste” to fix your screen. Use 3m Two Sided Adhesive Tape. Get a .03mm thickness or less full sheet and cut to size....

Chosen Solution When I first turn it on it looks fine then the middle of the screen starts turning white. It is still responsive but is hard to read sometimes. When I go to different menus I can see some of the previous text overlap. Picture on Google photos Hi! Has there been any water damage to the system? The fading screen can be a sign of that. If not, I recommend tearing the unit apart (using our guide here), cleaning (with isopropyl alcohol) and reseating the bottom screen’s ribbon cables....

Chosen Solution I am using Acer Nitro AN515-31 for a little less than a year now. After some time I have noticed that the LCD lid became loose, not holding steadily, flapping from slight movements. It had come so far, that when the lid is opened at more than a 90 degree angle, either it, or the LCD frame gets pushed into the screen under it’s weight, creating a noticeable LCD bleed in the lower right corner....

I cut the cord many years ago, so I watch videos from Hulu and Netflix by connecting my computer to my TV via HDMI. From the time I purchased the TV, I had the HDMI cable in the first position. Chosen Solution After update, unable to individually adjust phone and notification volumes. I was able to do this prior to the update. I want to be able to turn off notifications at night but still have phone on to receive emergency calls. Go into the sound settings and do it manually from there.

Chosen Solution On the specification panel of the enclosing charger box it has MODEL: 1-36018-04 S/W: DPI-36C018-D02 On the board itself is: PCBC0048-R18 I want to bypass the AC to the board and inject DC voltage directly into the input of the control circuitry (i.e. from a solar panel). Chosen Solution I dropped my phone in water and got it out immediately. I dried and took it to verizion where they reduxed the water out the phone works and will charge but the screen freezes up and you can’t use it or power down . is there anything else I can do to get it back right? Im sick and can’t afford another and this phone is my life. Can it be helped...

Chosen Solution What is the most likely problem after water damage, it will no longer turn on. The camera was not fully submerged. Just looking for the best line of attack. Dave Don’t start your camera remove the battery. Lense cap should be on or lens .Put it immediately inside the container of uncooked rice . It helps to get out all moisture out. Check after 8-10 hours. the D7000 is weather sealed but in no way waterproof, it would take some very heavy shower to cause water damage sever enough to write off your camera....

Chosen Solution I have a 25+ year old Kenmore refrigerator without an icemaker in my rental unit. I unclogged the defrost drain and that stopped water accumulating in bottom of the refrigerator. Chosen Solution I’m working on a 2017 MacBook Air that had some liquid damage on the power board (the separate board that has magsafe, USB, and aux). At first it would not power on at all but I could see immediately there was some sticky residue around the solder points of the MagSafe connection and just cleaning that up got the system running but with no backlight. Chosen Solution I am getting parallel, diagonal lines from top left to bottom right all the way across the screen on my 15” MabBook Pro A1150. They are made up of alternate groups of 4 small squares of red/blue and then blue on white. I can still the display behind theses lines and the cursor is no longer an arrow but a white oblong with black lines on it. Chosen Solution I got my MacBook Air’s LCD replaced because it pretty much got destroyed. A very bad job, but I can actually use it. I’m just wondering if there is a fix for the light seeping though. I can live with it, but it’s really annoying. A1466/ early 2014 prob. This looks exactly like water damage. The display was at one point exposed to liquid and it got into the back layers of the screen causing watermarks that you see in the picture....
