Chosen Solution The keyboard does not work and writes backwards I cannot see what you mean by a “hanging keyboard”, but the writing backwards I might be able to understand. Right click in the text box you are writing in and you should see a writing direction option, if you switch it to left to right it should fix that problem.

Chosen Solution The usb connector on my Magellan Roadmate 1200 became detached but is still in the unit. How do I open the case to get at the connector to re-attach? Removing the case is documented in the [Magellan RoadMate 1200 | User Guides} pages on this site. If you suspect that the connector has been detached, then it may need to be re-soldered to the logic board.

Chosen Solution Hi Try restoring you phone to see if it’s a software issue as if it is it should go away after a restore If that doesn’t work try taking the motherboard out and inspect for damage or discolouration as it could be a board related issue I would pay close attention to where the screen and digitiser plugs in ,I would also give the connectors (both screen and board) a clean with some isopropyl alcohol and some cotton buds/Qtips as iv had screens act strangely and it was microscopic dirt I couldn’t see on the connectors Hopefully this helps Any questions please ask Thanks:-)
