Chosen Solution Television went bad after a surge. I’m always one to try to repair things. At first the unit was receiving no power at all. I decided to test the fuse with my multimeter and it seemed functioning. Just to eliminate the power board, I decided to replace it. After replacing it, still nothing. At that point I decided to replace the mainboard as well. Where I’m at now: Mainboard & Powerboard replacedBacklight comes on then off then on then off, it keeps doing this while the red light flashes....

So far so good, but after i reassembled everything, my Touch ID wasn´t working correctly, so did a reboot and i did a soft reset with the hardware keys. After this I got the Message, that its "Unable to activate Touch ID"....

My MBP screen simply blacked out when I tried switching it on this morning. I could hear the chime of the boot up, but, I couldn’t see anything. I tried troubleshooting the issue with different resets using different key combinations at boot up, safe mode boot up option and what not, but nothing worked....
Chosen Solution Hi all, I know you can’t say “ok I’m going to take this newer and better logic board and install it in my older MacBook Pro” due to physical restrictions, but it should be possible to take a logic board from the best configuration available at the time you bought your mbp and replace the original to have a better laptop. And that’s exactly what I want to do with my computer....
Chosen Solution on my tablet, USB port is loosened so it is has contact issues and can not charge normally. is there a fix? Im sorry to say that without a person who knows how to microsolder it together there’s no certain and quick fixes. To my knowledge that is :)
Chosen Solution I have a hp omen 15 ce00x and I took off the back cover and disconnected the battery and screws holding down the fans i lost one of these screws in the case i couldn’t shake it out but after I took the fan out entirely it came out. After this I reassembled the laptop and now 2 out of my 3 ports aren’t working I have tried uninstalling the devises and restarting and scanning for hardware and checking for blockage and none of this has worked....

Chosen Solution I have a Macbook Pro bought in 2010. Was running great until, while working on a large home renovation, spilled water on the bottom of the laptop. The laptop was sitting on the counter in the kitchen, opposite side of the sink. Water ran from the sink and sat under my Macbook. I don’t know how long it was wet, but it was probably an hour or so. It was plugged in also, which is how I first noticed it because the green light from the charger was off....

Chosen Solution iMac 21.5” does not power up, no chime is heard. I know that LED codes are: LED 1 on= trickle voltage from power supply is detected by logicboard. LED2 on= logic board has detected proper power from the power supply when the computer is turned on. The problem is BOTH LEDs 1 and 2 are BLINKING (not ON continuously) when I connect the AC power cable to the mains wall socket....
