Chosen Solution A few months ago, my monitor would turn off randomly. I would simply replug the power cable from the outlet and the screen would turn on after a few seconds. Over the months, the screen would turn off more frequently and plugging and unplugging them monitor wouldn’t always work. I even connected the monitor to a seperate switch board that I could turn on and off with my foot to make the prcoess much quicker....

Chosen Solution The plug is ok. Power supply? One suggestion was to unplug it for 5 mins and then plug it back in with the on button held down. That didn’t work. Other ideas or how to replace power supply problems. I’ve done a lot of electronics repair and my Brother MFC-9320CW was exhibiting the classic symptoms of a dead power supply — no lights (not even a carrier light for the Ethernet jack), no buzz, nada....

Chosen Solution Hello I changed a Screen/Digitize on a Samsung Tab A. When push the home button it responds . When you try to tap the screen it won’t respond. When I press the ribbon connector to the chip it responses fully. When you stop using it for more then a minute it take a while to response to the touch again. I’ve tried taping the cable down to keep it secure and dosen’t help....

Chosen Solution Hi you all, I have a question. I went ahead and went to do a screen replacement for myself. The problem begun with the pentalobes, i have an ifixit p2 screwdriver, and both of the screws i rounded off and now they are stuck in there. I do have access to the insides, as I went ahead and ripped the screen threads (still somehow working and all, writing from the screen rn) and went ahead thinking I could just get these out with my tweezers and buy different pentalobes to use, but once I had the screen off, i realised the screws wouldn’t get out....

Chosen Solution I did the daughterboard replacement and I am now getting a “SIM not provisioned” message. The board does not seem to know what service provider the sim is with. There are no answers anywhere for this that I have seen. Everything is hooked up correctly, the phone registers that the sim is inserted, and the phone even knows the phone number connected to the sim but not the carrier for some reason....

Chosen Solution I have a Vizio E422VA TV which is 5 years old with no sound. A technician came out and siad the motherboard had to be replaced. Would a soundbar or receiver with extenral speakers attached to the TV bring back the sound. Thank you. @fogcpa that might work if the amp circuitry of the TV has failed. If the audio codec has failed on the motherboard, it wont. Give it a try and see if it works....

Chosen Solution I’ve had my Vizio 42" tv for over 7 or 8 years, recently the screen has been behaving a bit odd. First time it happened was about a year ago, it made a pop sound and the picture went away. Turning it off and back on produced a mostly black screen with a grey bar at the top, and what looked to be the bottom of the broadcast barely peeking out at the edge of the top of the screen ....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have a Vizio d58u-d3 55 inch which is a couple of years old now.. Last night I was watching TV for about 10 minutes when I heard a loud boom come from the TV and it turned off. I unplugged it, and let it sit for a day. Today I plugged in back in to multiple power sources and it wouldn’t turn on.. I’m assuming the loud boom was something inside the TV component that went bad....

Chosen Solution My whirlpool washing machine leaks at the hot water faucet handle when the supply line is connected. When I ran a cycle with the hot water supply line disconnected from the faucet, water came out of the hot water supply hose at high pressure (I drained it into the sink on the washroom). Any recommendations on how to fix this? There is not apparent leak from the faucet when the supply line is disconnected....

Chosen Solution I have two questions one is which adhesive should I use to keep the charge port down. Then where can I get replacement screws? There are 2 screws on the bottom of the computer near the charge port. Both I’m assuming had little plastic rings and a gold nut. I have both gold pieces but I don’t know where to get the plastic pieces. hot glue work wonders on damages screw threads and holding things in place after frame damage....

Does that mean a new battery needed, where do I get it? Amy, that usually means your phones are to far from the base. Yes, bad batteries can be causing a decreased range. Batteries are available at places like this as well as many more....

Chosen Solution All of your pictures show the engine outside of the mower. Do I have to take my engine out in order to make repairs? That seems like a big hassle. :\ Brad Wash, depends on what you are trying to repair. The more involved the repair, the bigger the hassle:-) Brad, you shouldn’t need to remove the engine from the rest of the mower to do any maintenance on the device....

Chosen Solution I followed a guide from here, what doesn’t say anything about this, so this happened: Is it a WIFI antenna/booster? Where can I get a new one if that’s possible? Is it important for the perfect working order, can I use something else for (wire etc.)? I asked straight from Lenovo, they don’t let me know. I also asked the Lenovo forum with no any luck. Thanks for any help guys....

Chosen Solution When i connect my passport to my computer it takes long time to show up but when it does it will ask me for my password when i enter my password it say’s i can now access my files but at this point i am unable to open the drive. is there anyway I can recover my data? I’m not an expert, but try a different usb cable and see if that improves the speed....

Chosen Solution I’m just sick of getting batteries that just cause the phone to constantly reboot. Already tried heaps of hardware solutions and getting a quality battery seems to be the solution. So where can I buy reliable batteries? I also have a battery tester incase battery needs activation. iFixit offers a battery, which can be found here: iPhone 4S Battery

Chosen Solution one hour or so, it works great, but sometimes, when I use it longer, especailly after an idle time or walk away from it, then come back the screen becomes frozen, when I click the mouse, the arrow becomes a rainbow filled circle and I can not go anywhere, if it turns it down, it remains the same, but if I wait longer ( one or two hours, it works again....

Chosen Solution Interior screan is broken but I dont have guaranty The LCD is what broke I guess, not the digitizer right? You could try to order a new one and fix it yourself or see if you can send it in to someone to fix it. This is not really a question.

Chosen Solution The machine was working fine for Minecraft until a few days ago when suddenly the screen went black. Nothing can be used: no safe mode, no target mode, no memory reset… When I press the power button I hear the machine powering but nothing else happens. The screen stays black. I need a long press to blindly turn it off. Likely that either the display has died, or the video card....

Chosen Solution A friend of mine’s computer monitor tends to flicker rapidly and display lines on the top of the screen with the section above this being normal, but the area below significantly higher in brightness. The flickering tends to go away after a few minutes. Can you tell me what the problem with the monitor is? I’m guessing an issue with the graphics card, but it could be something else....
