Get a magnifying glass and check the connections to the screen and clean them with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush. Inspection showed that one of the threads on the receptor (the heavy metal piece into which the filter holder twists) is either worn or corroded so the thread is no longer smooth. At he beginning it was one colored line and after multiplied. @manag horizontal lines on TV’s like yours are usually caused by either bad gate drivers or a bad/failed TAB bond. Either one of those is very difficult for a DIY’er to repair. It might help to verify this by seeing what you see....
