Chosen Solution my phone fell while charging and the screen was working but when i came back to use it again the top part of the screen is unresponsive i’ve tried putting the connector on and off still unresponsive any ways to fix this? Unfortunately you will need to replace your screen. The iPhone 6 plus screens are not that expensive.

Chosen Solution Vague title, I know. Iphone 6s: Just did a screen replacement on a friend’s 6s, everything normal, took good care, used correct tools, home button works fine, but touch Id doesn’t. Tried everything but couldn’t get the %#*@ thing to work (no notification on phone saying touch id needed repairs), decided to lift the screen and to my surpise, touch id only works while the screen is lifted from the case, the moment I try to shut the phone closed it doesn’t work anymore....

Chosen Solution My Playstation 4 slim console reads ps4 games just fine. But when I put in a dvd movie it says unknown disc. I have tried different movies but same problem with all dvd disc kenneth.christensen since it plays your games but cannot read your DVD’s it’ll be related to the laser. You could try a commercially available laser lens cleaner. Chosen Solution I replaced the battery for my Mac last night and let it charge for a several hours afterward as directed. When I first tried to power it on nothing happened, but after holding down the power button enough times it eventually turned on. It seemed to be working fine with no lagging or anything except the fan was on really loud and wouldn’t turn off. I unplugged it with the display open to see what would happen and it just shut off and wouldn’t turn on again until this morning....

Chosen Solution Tried Spin cycle several times. Ken, if it sits there waiting to drain, check to see if it is absolutely silent or if you can hear a hum. If it hums it could be something stuck in the drain pump or you may have a defective drain pump. Check on here how to replace the pump. If it does not hum then the problem is more likely the lid switch....

Do a search by that number. Looks like they are available at places like this as well as many others. If it is not, post some images of your battery label with your question. Even more baffling was that I used a case that was supposed to be waterproof. Anyways, back to the current situation. So now I took the battery out from the note and put it back in, and it seems that it has recollected some semblance of a working tablet....

Chosen Solution When I send videos from my phone to my laptop it doesn’t play why Hi @marne01 , It may be easier to install another media player in the computer and use it as the default player in the computer. The example linked supports nearly every type of file out there so it should work.

Chosen Solution Recently replaced my earpiece speaker for iPhone 11. I find it strange that I already replaced it two times and yet the top speaker still sounds distorted and crackly at low volumes. I’m starting to think it’s not a matter of replacing the speaker. Any other suggestions on what else I have to do to fix this issue? btw, already tried the tape trick on the top of the speaker and it didn’t really do anything....

Chosen Solution If I understand things correctly, when tuning a guitar with a tuner it’s normal for the “Attack” to register as a little bit sharp, but settle in on the correct note quickly as it “Rings” I changed the strings on my bass, looking to try for a different sound, and the E-string attack is so much sharper than the ring that the tuner almost flips over and tells me it’s a flat “F” On a possibly related note, the “G” string seems to be under much more tension than the rest of the strings....

Chosen Solution Hi Crew. I got an iphone 8 in for repair, and it seemed pretty straight forward. Replace the battery. Cool. started by disconnecting battery from the board. I heated up the back a little bit to loosen the adhesive and pried up the batter. I installed the new battery, and it booted up fine while the screen was off the housing. everything worked fine, so it was time to close it up....

Chosen Solution Hi, I had this exact same problem before and fixed it but I can’t remember how; After my computer froze [1] it doesn’t detect my USB external disk anymore, and it doesn’t show up when I boot up the laptop with a different hard drive or from a DVD boot either I am pretty sure the problem is because the disk wasn’t unmounted before shutdown, I think there was a thing I got before that would detect that the USB drive is plugged in even when Windows can’t, and then safely dismount it, but I was really stupid and forgot to save or write down what program I used before if anyone knows what to do please tell me :( I feel sick because I again stupidly didn’t back up [2] and it has pretty much my life on it....

Chosen Solution I have a WTW8900BCO washer that sometimes will not drain. Each time I will pull the drain pump and reinstall and it works fine for a few days before not draining again. The drain hoses are clear. The unit is 4 years old. What do you think? have you tried changing the belt ? if it is stretched you’re most likely to get this problem.
